Compression testers

• Each individual cylinder or combustion chamber in petrol (gasoline) and diesel engines can be diagnosed by measuring the compression pressure. 
• The measurement is made via the spark plug, glow plug or injector bore in conjunction with specific adapters.
• If the measurement values are low or deviate too much, the following may be faulty: piston rings, valves, cylinder head gasket. 
• The fault location can be further pinpointed by a subsequent engine pressure loss measurement.
