Detect Fuel Mix-Ups and Fuel Mixtures!

Incorrect or contaminated fuel can lead to malfunctions and damage to the fuel system and engine.

With testing equipment from Autotestgeräte Leitenberger, different fuels or fuel mixtures can be analyzed directly in the workshop.

Depending on the testing device, you can, for example:

• Detect gasoline content in diesel fuel
• Assess diesel/biodiesel mixture ratios
• Compare different fuels based on their physical properties
• Determine ethanol content in fuel samples

The KIK 01_LR, for example, can detect contamination of diesel fuel with gasoline at concentrations as low as 0.2%.

Fuel identification can be particularly useful in cases of misfueling, unclear fuel quality, or prior to further diagnostic work on the fuel injection system.
