Towing vehicle tester for testing trailer receptacles

Test trailer jacks on the towing vehicle without a trailer. Using professional towing vehicle testers and trailer jack testers, repair shops can test the electrical trailer jack of a passenger car or commercial vehicle without having to connect a trailer.

The towing vehicle tester simulates a connected trailer, thereby enabling a targeted check of the output signals at the trailer socket. Depending on the device model, turn signals, brake lights, tail lights, reverse lights, and rear fog lights, among others, can be tested.

Several trailer testers are CAN bus-compatible and feature integrated load resistors or trailer simulation functions. This allows even modern vehicles with trailer detection or lamp failure monitoring to be tested under realistic conditions.

With the VK 26 and VK 27 adapters, different 7- and 13-pin 12-V connector systems can also be combined with one another.
