Air Conditioning

Air conditioning systems are very complex and have high maintenance and operating requirements due to ever increasing environmental regulations and the problems and dangers posed by refrigerants. Maximum tightness is a basic requirement in new systems due to the low coolant quantity, the high operating pressure in R744 (CO2) systems and the flammability of R1234yf. The documentation requirement for refrigerant disposal etc. is also becoming more stringent.

Testing units and products from Leitenberger are used for the following:

• Pressure/leak testing with nitrogen (R134a, R1234yf and R744 systems)
• Leak detection with forming gas (R134a, R1234yf and R744 systems)
• Air conditioning system service
