Voltage Testers for Vehicle Power Outlets

12- and 24-V vehicle power outlets are used in passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and motorcycles to supply power to electrical components. With a suitable automotive voltage tester, you can quickly check whether voltage is present at a cigarette lighter or standard power outlet and whether the polarity is correct.

The ZAT 02 voltage tester from Autotestgeräte Leitenberger was specifically designed for testing 12- and 24-V vehicle power outlets. A test LED clearly indicates the polarity: green means correct polarity, red means incorrect polarity.

The tester’s design reduces the risk of an accidental short circuit, which can occur when a conventional voltage tester is used carelessly in a vehicle outlet. Thanks to a removable adapter sleeve, the ZAT 02 can also be used with smaller outlets, such as those found on motorcycles.
