Hand-operated transfer pumps allow for the manual transfer of liquids from one container or system to another. Thanks to separate suction and discharge ports, the fluid is drawn in when the pump handle is pulled out and is then transferred directly through the discharge side when the handle is pushed back in. This eliminates the need to manually empty the pump cylinder between individual pumping cycles.
