Test Injection Nozzles and Injectors Manually!

Manual injection nozzle testers can be used to test various mechanical properties of suitable diesel and gasoline injectors or injection nozzles.

Depending on the injector type and tester, the following properties, among others, can be evaluated:

• Opening pressure
• Spray pattern or jet pattern
• Leak tightness
• Pressure retention behavior
• Rattling characteristics

Leitenberger offers testers for various pressure ranges up to 1,600 bar, as well as models with and without a drag pointer.

Manual testers are distinct from modern, electronically controlled common-rail or GDI injector test benches. Separate automated test benches are available for comprehensive testing of such injectors.
