Crankcase Pressure and Blow-by Measurement Devices

Measuring crankcase pressure and blow-by gas volume provides important information about the condition of an internal combustion engine and its crankcase ventilation system. Combustion gases can enter the crankcase, particularly between the piston, piston rings, and cylinder wall. As wear increases or in the event of malfunctions, the blow-by volume or the pressure in the crankcase may change.
