Description

The LT 200.2 CO₂ leak test device is the professional solution for visualizing CO₂ leaks in the cooling system in the event of a defective cylinder head gasket!

Function & area of application

The two-chamber technology significantly increases measurement accuracy and enables reliable detection of CO₂ in the coolant – a clear indicator of a defective cylinder head gasket or damage to the cylinder head.

The application is very simple: The tester is connected to suitable radiator adapters (type K.., KS.. or UA..) from Autotestgeräte Leitenberger via the integrated quick coupling.

Visible leak detection

Pressing the rubber ball sucks gas from the cooling system into the test chambers. If it comes into contact with CO₂, the reaction fluid reliably indicates a color change.

• Gasoline engines: Reaction fluid changes color from blue to yellow upon contact with CO₂.
• Diesel engines: Color change from blue to green.
• The change is gradual – ideal for detecting even the smallest leaks.

The device comes with a bottle of reaction fluid LT 02 and is designed for permanent workshop use.
