Description

This product includes a total of 20 battery checks:

• 10 SoH tests + 10 drive tests

This means both test methods are available for flexible use in various applications—from quickly reading the battery’s state of health to conducting more in-depth testing of the high-voltage battery under load.

10 SoH Tests

An SoH readout can be performed with each test. During this process, the battery data provided by the vehicle or the Battery Management System is retrieved via the OBD2 interface. A test drive is not required. Upon completion, a digital SoH report is generated.

The SoH test is particularly suitable for:

• Vehicle acceptance
• Vehicle purchase and trade-in
• Inventory inspection
• Fleet checks
• Quick assessment of battery condition

10 Drive Tests

A drive test can be performed with each check. In addition to static battery data, dynamic measurements of the high-voltage battery under load are recorded during a short acceleration drive. The evaluation is based on the patented DEKRA testing method. Upon completion, a digital SoH battery certificate is available.

• Professional vehicle appraisal
• Documented assessment of battery condition

Requirements

The following are required to perform the test:

• HVBD 01_LR hardware
• valid HVBD 01_LR connectivity and annual license
• Support for the respective vehicle for the selected testing method
