Description
The SKDM 01 from LEITENBERGER is an analog measuring device for temporarily measuring compression pressure in marine engines. It was developed for professional use and is ideal for testing, diagnostic, and monitoring tasks on the engine. The measured pressure is displayed directly on an easy-to-read analog pressure gauge.
Thanks to its robust construction and ease of use, the device can be quickly mounted at the measurement point. After the measurement, the pressure gauge is depressurized via the integrated bleed screw and can then be safely removed.
A note on correctly interpreting the measurement result: Additionally, the pressure specified in the included certificate must be added to the reading to determine the engine’s correct maximum pressure. This provides a reliable and precise reference value for assessing the engine’s condition.
The SKDM 01 is designed for short-term pressure measurement and must not be permanently installed in the system. With a measurement range up to 250 bar, Class 1.0 accuracy, and a permissible medium temperature up to 600 °C, it is ideally suited for demanding applications in the field of marine engines.
